Camí del Correu is the old road used by the post office. It connects the villages of Esporles and Banyalbufar.
This excursion will take you around two hours across four kilometres of both flat and
steep terrain. It’s classified as “medium” in terms of difficulty.
It starts next to the church in Esporles. From here it’s a steep climb up a hill (the steepest on the route) followed by flatter land until the final stretch, which descends to Banyalbufar.
You'll have to cross the main road between both villages on two occasions, so watch out for the traffic!
Apart from that, it’s mainly beautiful Holm oak forest for most of the route. You’ll also see spectacular views of Port des Canonge and La Foradada along the way.
When you get to the end of the Holm oak forest, the trail turns into an asphalted road which will take you directly to the centre of Banyalbufar.
This whole route is well signposted by milestones and wooden arrows.
