Cuisine

The gastronomy in Cala Millor is an international one. You'll find anything from a delicious Mallorca meal typical of the Balearic Islands, Spain to italian, french, or german restaurants. The choices when it comes time to choosing a place to eat are enldess.

Traditional Balearic Island cuisine is rich and varied. Although it originates from a flourishing fishing industry it also consists of a wide range of food other than fish.

Popular dishes include; the typical “Frit de Mallorqui”, made with vegetables or trempo; and “caldereta de llagosta”, a Minorcan lobster speciality. Cuscussó (a Christmas dessert of Moorish origin) is also very popular. Figs “figues” are used extensively in many Mallorcan dishes.

On Ibiza, they eat a lot of flaó (cheese with herbs) and Formentera is famous for it’s delicious fish salad. These are just a few of the culinary delights to be savoured during a visit to the Balearic Archipelago.

In Cala Millor you’ll find all kinds of restaurants; traditional Spanish, as well as English, French, Italian, International etc…There’s a wide variety of food available - something to cater to every taste.
